Accommodation in Shanghai

Shanghai is an extremely large and growing metropolis. Options in housing type and neighbourhoods are plentiful. Many districts have their own special characteristics (hip neighbourhoods, family-oriented, traditional) and benefits, while homes are readily available to rent at a variety of prices and contract lengths.

Placement service
If you want us to arrange accommodation for you in a family, furnished apartment, or at a hotel in Shanghai, please apply to our placement service. For a service charge, we search for a suitable accommodation for you, present you with (maximum) three alternatives, and do the booking upon your agreement. Our placement service includes transfer from the airport upon your arrival in Shanghai, but not the cost of rent. The price for accommodation depends on standard, location, size, and season. We strive to provide our students with a budget range. The rent is usually paid by you directly to us or to the landlord upon your arrival. Sometimes a deposit is required.

Shared apartment
You get your own single room and share an apartment with one or two other students. (Includes cleaning, free Internet, private bathroom/shower, TV/DVD player, washing machine, laundry service).

Studio apartment
Many students stay at a serviced studio apartment (includes cleaning, free Internet, private bathroom/shower, TV/DVD player, washing machine, laundry service). The apartments are normally within 10 - 30 minutes distance from the school.

Hotel
There are hotels near the school.
