Getting to Hong Kong

Getting to Hong Kong

Hong Kong’s international sea, air, road and rail links make getting there and away easy and largely stress free.

Air
Hong Kong International Airport which was the world’s largest civil engineering project when it opened in 1998, is on Chek Lap Kok on the northern coast of Lantau. It is connected to the mainland by several spans.
Hong Kong’s importance as an international hub for China and much of East and Southeast Asia ensures excellent international air connections, and competition keeps the fares relatively low to most places.

Transport by bus
You can reach any major destination in neighboring Guangdong province by bus from Hong Kong.
