Accommodation in Beijing

When booking a course through AMBergh Education you can choose from a variety of accommodation options 10 to 20 minutes from the school. Accommodation is generally reserved from Sunday prior to the start of the course until Saturday following the end of the course. Extra nights of accommodation before and after the course can be arranged at an extra fee.

Placement service
If you want us to arrange accommodation for you in a family, furnished apartment, or at a hotel in Beijing, please apply to our placement service. For a service charge, we search for a suitable accommodation for you, present you with (maximum) three alternatives, and do the booking upon your agreement. Our placement service includes transfer from the airport upon your arrival in Beijing, but not the cost of rent. The price for accommodation depends on standard, location, size, and season. We strive to provide our students with a budget range. The rent is usually paid by you directly to us or to the landlord upon your arrival. Sometimes a deposit is required.

Family stay
Living with a family gives you an excellent opportunity to practice your Mandarin in a relaxed atmosphere and to experience Chinese hospitality and family life. All families that offer accommodation to students have been visited and approved by the School. You will be given your own single room, access to shared bathroom facilities, kitchen, washing machine, telephone and television. You will be provided with bed linen, blankets, and have access to TV and free broadband and Internet. Meals will be provided for you. Shops, banks and post office are in the area.

Apartment
For stays of at least 4 weeks, we offer comfortable single rooms in a shared apartment, or private studio apartments within 10 - 20 minutes walk or via public transportation to school. The apartments are furnished, including TV, fridge, stove, bathroom, washing machine and air conditioning. You will be provided with bed linen, blankets, and have access to TV and free broadband and Internet, telephone and free local phone calls. Apartments are simple, furnished and equipped, cleaning service.

Hotel
There is a large range of hotels in Beijing to suit most budgets. Let us know what kind of standard you are looking and we will make the necessary arrangements.
